Meet Dr. Robert Teachman
Dr. Robert Teachman, D.O. is a board certified Family Medicine physician. Dr. Teachman provides full spectrum family medicine care with special interests including preventive medicine, nutrition, sports medicine, and wellness. For the past year he has worked with the geriatric population at the Trident Senior Health Center.
Dr. Teachman received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Arizona State University prior to receiving his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has completed the Family Medicine residency program from Trident/MUSC in Charleston SC, completing the Sports Medicine Track within the program. He was a team physician for the College of Charleston.
Dr. Teachman is an avid triathlete and marathoner. He was a certified personal trainer for 5 years prior to medical school. He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Cindy and their three children Ryan, John, and Zachary.
